`The photographers I choose I think they definitely use no focus and out focus in their abstract work these photographers are: Uta Barth Bill Armstrong
Uta Barth
In this summary it talks about wat is work is based on and why some of his works dont have titles: It was published by Muse [X] Editions. The ten images are not individually titled and do not have a particular sequence. They are derived from photographs culled by the artist from a variety of sources. Nine are colour and one is black and white. They depict out-of-focus, outdoor backgrounds with a foreground component protruding into the edge of each composition. This is part of the original 'subject' of the photograph, which Barth has cropped dramatically. Only the edges of shoulders, clothed and unclothed arms, hands and faces are visible. Several of the images derive from a photograph of a woman in front of trees; in others the background is so blurred as to be unreadable
Bill Armstrong
Bill has set of photographs named 'infinity series' these are the words he used to describe his work ''The Infinity series is an extensive body of work that I have been photographing since 1997. It includes a wide range of portfolios, from figurative to abstract, that are made using my unique process of photographing found images extremely out of focus with the camera’s focusing ring set at infinity. My unique process of appropriating images and subjecting them to a series of manipulations—photocopying, cutting, painting, re-photographing—transforms the originals and gives them a new meaning in a new context. Extreme blurring makes the edges within the collages disappear, so the photographs appear to be seamless, integrated images''.
Florence Henri:

She experimented with phtomontage, multiple exposers and negative printing when it came to printing out her work. Shizuka Yokomizo
In the picture openings I can see a man standing in a hotel room window right by the door on the phone around him there's a lot of red tones on the walls and dim lights. the shapes and the atmosphere make you feel/guess its a hotel room the window that you can see the man looking through is a six square shape window. the picture is an unusual picture because its not up 2 peoples standers there would be questions like; why is there a man standing like that? who's he talking to? does he know his picture is being taken? is he in a hotel? I think Shizuka Yokomizo created this image by looking for interesting people or something that inspire her and others by using a camera or a telephoto maybe all or half or her work is about people and what they do during the day or at night so what she gets a glimpse of at that time she decides to take to take what she likes and what she's baste off on. The things I like about this picture is that its different and you can describe and notice all the tiny stuff such as a tiny wine glass in the back or a light switch in the back just under his arm if you look closely I also like how the colours and the furniture complement the room-- I dislike how small the picture is and how it only shows a certain amount of stuff if I could talk too the artist I would ask her what does this picture say to you? why did you choose this specific man and this specific room? why didn't she try to take more of the same picture but with something extra that we wouldn't but would notice eventually. This picture relate to the theme of opening because its an open picture there's a saying about the eyes are the windows to the soul and right know our eyes are looking at this picture about a vulnerable stranger in the window so our eyes open up everything like this picture. And Shizuka uses telephoto's to catch vulnerable people as she walks through London its like seeking what's kept in the dark.
