Describing this picture to someone who can't see it I would tell them about all the colour. The whole picture is basically grey [black & white] in the pic you can see all the shapes which is mostly triangle the house, the big sign and trees. Space is represented in the photograph if you look at the sign [the triangle] you can tell that its close and then if you look at the cloud that's on top of the sign. It looks really close when in reality its very far also a big circle in my eyes. The sign is in focus because its the very first thing you can see. The trees and power lines down the street are out of focus.
If I could ask the artist is he or she was here I would ask what made you choose this specific picture/background. If I lived in this photo I think it would be a interesting to look at everything in another way but like how its a photograph I would be still. I don't know why he made this picture but my guess is that he liked the way it looked different in the real world. I think it being black and white is effective because it makes you feel depressed.
